How to write an essay?

Very often, students are given the task of writing an essay. Regardless of the specialization or abilities of the student, almost every one of us was faced with a similar task, and for many it was not easy. Note that even for a negligent student or student, writing an essay can bring immense satisfaction and benefit if you use the most simple and elementary rules. It is about these rules in this article that will be discussed.
First of all, it is necessary to correctly compose the content. As a rule, any content of the work consists of introductory, main, final parts, as well as from the list of references. The main part should be divided into several areas for discussion. It will not be difficult, since the main topic can always be divided into several semantic sections. Usually there are 2-3 sections for an essay. If necessary, you can split these sections for subsections. This will allow to concretize your thoughts.
The main part of the work is an indicator of your ability to understand this topic, as well as your creative abilities, how to tie your thoughts into a single picture. To achieve a positive result, you just need to follow a few recommendations.
First, use all the materials you found in preparing for the essay. Do not forget the logical and chronological sequence. In some disciplines, such as history or philosophy, chronology will be of paramount importance. Do not forget to put down footnotes in the text of the work in order to easily compile a list of references at the end of the work.
Secondly, the assessment of your essay will depend on two factors – the ability to work with sources, and the ability to express your own opinion. In order to show the ability to work with sources, it is necessary to bring in their work the opinions of famous people on the topic under study. At the same time, the corresponding introductory phrases are used “in the opinion of the scientist …”, “as for … he considers”. These expressions make it clear that you have carefully studied the topic of your essay, have prepared an excellent base of materials for its writing.
Thirdly, in most cases an essay with a high degree of originality of the text is required from the student. To achieve it, you should be able to rephrase those elements of the essay, which were borrowed from other sources. And believe me, this is not so difficult to do. Try to rephrase the previous sentence. You should have something like: “Be sure, this process will not be any work for you.”
